Pemanfaatan Ekstrak Air Rebusan pala Sebagai Hand Sanitizer di Masa Pandemi Covid 19

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menambah referensi pengetahuan tentang fungsi pala terhadap masyarakat desa Tampumia khusunya, dan juga kepada masyarakat secara luas atau secara umum tentang manfaat buah Pala, salah satunya adalah dapat berfungsi sebagai hand sanitizer setelah  diolah menjadi ekstrak air rebusan. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada masyarakat petani Pala sebagai bagian dari pelaksanaan tridarma Perguruan Tiinggi, dan berorientasi pada edukasi serta memediasi masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan rempah, yaitu buah menjadi hand sanitizer. Buah pala tersebut diekstrak dalam bentuk air rebusan, kemudian berfungsi sebagai pencegah penyebaran virus corona atau covid 19. Karena selain vaksin, buah Pala dapat pula dimanfaatkan untuk menjaga atau anti virus yang dapat melindungi manusia dari kuman yang membawa penyakit, termasuk virus Coroma., ekstrak air rebusan pala, merupakan langkah awal dalam mencegah terjangkit virus Corona (Covid 19). Buah pala mempunyai banyak manfaat, termasuk untuk kecantikan, dan juga berfungsi sebagai pengobatan pada kesehatan tubuh manusia.  Buah Pala pun berfungsi sebagai anti Virus atau Kuman (Hand Sanitizer), dan juga baik untuk pengobatan bagi Kesehatan, misalnya menghilangkan masuk angin, menjaga sistem imun tubuh karena terdapat kandungan berbagai vitamin salah satunya vitamin C. juga dapat mengatasi Insomnia, asam lambung, dapat menyehatkan otak, dan masih banyak manfaat lainnya.
