Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, produktivitas dan ketahanan usaha hortikultura skala kecil yang terdampak oleh suhu tinggi di lingkungan tropis. Intervensi utama yang dilakukan meliputi perancangan dan pemasangan alat sistem kontrol otomatis fertigasi untuk mengoptimalkan distribusi air dan nutrisi, serta penerapan perangkat pengendali suhu guna mengurangi tekanan panas yang merugikan pertumbuhan tanaman. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan partisipatif yang mencakup koordinasi dengan mitra, pengenalan teknologi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan agar keberlanjutan sistem dapat terjamin. Hasil pelaksanaan program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keseragaman pertumbuhan tanaman dan kualitas hasil panen yang lebih baik dibandingkan kondisi sebelum intervensi. Melalui rogram ini diharapkan kombinasi sistem fertigasi cerdas dan pengendalian suhu dapat meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, meminimalkan kerugian akibat iklim ekstrem, serta menjadi solusi yang dapat diterapkan pada usaha pertanian serupa.
