Literasi Bahasa Indonesia untuk Kesadaran Lingkungan Desa yang dilaksanakan di Desa Salutiwo dihadirkan sebagai upaya mendorong partisipasi aktif warga dalam membuat dan menyebarkan karya, sekaligus menumbuhkan budaya bersih, peduli lingkungan, serta meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa dan kreativitas masyarakat desa. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman awal kepada masyarakat Desa Salutiwo, Mamuju, mengenai tujuan, manfaat, dan tata cara pelaksanaan kegiatan pengelolaan sampah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dikemas dalam bentuk edukasi literasi Bahasa Indonesia, melalui media kreatif untuk menyampaikan pesan lingkungan secara efektif. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat desa terhadap pengelolaan sampah, serta terciptanya karya literasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai media kampanye lingkungan. Dengan mengintegrasikan Bahasa Indonesia dan pendidikan lingkungan, kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa literasi bahasa dapat menjadi sarana efektif untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan masyarakat desa. Melalui program Sampah Jadi Cerita, warga tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa, tetapi juga membangun kepedulian terhadap kebersihan dan kelestarian lingkungan. Sampah dimanfaatkan sebagai media edukatif yang kreatif sehingga melahirkan budaya literasi yang terintegrasi dengan aksi peduli lingkungan. Program ini berpotensi menjadi model pembelajaran dan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berkelanjutan menuju desa cerdas literasi dan berbudaya bersih.
