Pelatihan Peningkatan Kapasitas Penyuluh Pertanian dalam Pembuatan Media Penyuluhan di Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP) Kecamatan Bone-Bone Kabupaten Luwu Utara

Abstract

Keberhasilan program pembangunan sektor pertanian sangat bergantung kepada peran penyuluh di lapangan melalui pendampingan dan pemberdayaan kepada petani. Penyuluh harus berinovasi menemukan cara-cara baru yang efektif, tidak hanya konvensional. Dorongan dan dukungan dalam bentuk informasi yang lebih banyak, pedoman praktek, dan penguatan yang membuat kemajuan mereka terintegrasi dengan kompetensi baru dalam kehidupan mereka sehari-hari.  Materi penyuluhan yang disusun harus memenuhi prasyarat  menguntungkan, sesuai dengan teknologi setempat, mudah dimengerti, mudah dicoba dalam skala kecil, dan cepat dapat dirasakan hasilnya. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP) Kecamatan Bone-Bone, Kabupaten Luwu Utara  pada hari Kamis tanggal  16 Juni 2022. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode pelatihan dengan sistem ceramah, curah pendapat dan praktek. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah para penyuluh pertanian sebanyak 30 orang yang berasal dari 2 BPP yakni BPP Bone-Bone dan BPP Tana Lili, mampu menyusun media penyuluhan berupa leaflet, brosur, panplet, stiker dan label, baik secara manual maupun secara elektronik dengan menggunakan sarana informasi teknologi (IT) berupa laptop yang diakseskan dengan internet. Media penyuluhan ini nantinya akan digunakan oleh para penyuluh pertanian sebagai media penyuluhan dan bahan ajar kepada kelompok tani agar para petani lebih terbangun kapabilitasnya dalam menerapkan teknologi usahatani sehingga bisa lebih efektif dalam berusahatani dan nantinya dapat  meningkatkan kesejahteraan para petani.
