Pemberdayaan Kelompok Tani Nilam melalui Produk Turunan Berbasis Teknologi Modern untuk Meningkatkan Pendapatan Petani

Minyak nilam (Pogostemon cablin) merupakan komoditas atsiri unggulan Indonesia yang memiliki pangsa pasar global terbesar. Namun, petani di Desa Padang Kamburi, Kecamatan Bua Ponrang, Kabupaten Luwu, Sulawesi Selatan, masih menghadapi kendala pada tahap pascapanen dan pemasaran karena sebagian besar hanya menjual minyak mentah dengan nilai tambah rendah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan kelompok tani nilam melalui pengembangan produk turunan berupa sabun mandi dan parfum menggunakan teknologi modern guna meningkatkan pendapatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah participatory action research dengan tahapan pelatihan teknis, pendampingan produksi, manajemen usaha, dan pemasaran digital. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan produksi, kualitas produk, serta pendapatan petani setelah program dijalankan. Inovasi ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi teknologi modern pada pengolahan produk pertanian dapat memperkuat ekonomi lokal dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani.
