Pengaruh Berbagai Dosis Mikoriza terhadap Perakaran dan Produksi Tanaman Terong Ungu (Solanum melongena L.)

Abstract

Mikoriza merupakan jamur yang memiliki peran simbiotik dengan tanaman khususnya pada bagian perakaran. Mikoriza dapat membantu meningkatkan penyerapan air dan nutrisi pada tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai dosis aplikasi mikoriza terhadap kondisi perakaran dan produksi pada tanaman terong ungu. Penelitian dilakukan di lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian UNCP pada bulan Oktober – Desember 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan RAK (Rancangan Acak Kelompok) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Taraf perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu, P0= kontrol (tanpa pemberian mikoriza) dan beberapa dosis aplikasi mikoriza yaitu P1= 9 gram/ tanaman, P2=12 gram/tanaman, P3= 15 gram/ tanaman, P4= 18/ tanaman, dan P5= 21 gram/ tanaman. Parameter yang diamati yaitu bobot akar, jumlah buah, dan bobot buah per tanaman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian mikoriza memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap bobot akar tanaman terong dan tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah buah dan bobot buah. Perlakuan terbaik ditunjukkan pada perlakuan P5 yaitu aplikasi mikoriza 21 gram/ tanaman untuk keseluruhan parameter pengamatan. Meskipun aplikasi mikoriza tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata secara analisis statistik pada komponen produksi, namun tanaman terong yang diberi mikoriza menunjukkan produksi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan yang tidak diberikan mikoriza
