Peran Penyuluh Pertanian terhadap Peningkatan Produksi Usahatani Kakao di Desa Salujambu Kecamatan Lamasi Kabupaten Luwu

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran penyuluh pertanian terhadap peningkatan produksi usahatani kakao di Desa Salujambu Kecamatan Lamasi Kabupaten Luwu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, ada beberapa teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu melakukan observasi, wawancara, pengisian kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Total populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 19 orang diantaranya adalah petani kakao 17 orang dan penyuluh 2 orang. Oleh karena itu Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah metode purposive sampling atau secara sengaja. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 17 petani kakao dan 1 Penyuluh Pertanian di Desa Salujambu dan 1
Kepala Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP) Kecamatan Lamasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data pengukuran Skala Likert. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peran penyuluh pertanian terhadap peningkatan produksi usahatani kakao dimana berdasarkan peran penyuluh pertanian sebagai fasilitator dengan skor 371 dengan kategori baik, peran penyuluh pertanian sebagai inovator dengan skor 410 dengan kategori sangat baik, peran penyuluh pertanian sebagai motivator dengan skor 406 dengan kategori sangat baik, peran penyuluh pertanian sebagai dinamisator dengan skor 356 dengan kategori baik, peran penyuluh pertanian sebagai edukator menunjukkan skor 422 dengan kategori sangat baik. Sehingga jumlah keseluruhan dari peran penyuluh pertanian sebagai fasilitator, inovator, motivator, dinamisator dan edukator yaitu 1.965 pada kisaran interval 1.615 –1.994 dengan kategori baik.
