Strategi Pengelolaan Berkelanjutan Berbasis Masyarakat Wisata Mangrove Polongasa Kabupaten Luwu

Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat strategi pengelolaan wisata mangrove yang dikelola oleh masyarakat bisa berkembang dari sebelumnya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai bulan November 2025 di Desa Towondu, Kecamatan Suli, Kabupaten Luwu, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara dan. Observasi dilakukan untuk menganalisis kegiatan masyarakat selama adanya obyek wisata mangrove, setelah itu dilakukan wawancara kepada masyarakat untuk merumuskan strategi pengelolaan wisata yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya melalui analisis SWOT.
Hasil analisis bahwa masyarakat sangat berperan pada ekowisata Mangrove Polongasa. Hasil alternatif strategi (SO) pengelola dan masyarakat senantiasa menjaga dan meningkatkan vegetasi mangrove, dan merancang dengan baik seluruh akses berdasarkan kebutuhan masyarakat dan pengunjung. Selanjutnya hasil alternatif strategi (WO) pemerintah dan masyarakat bekerjasama melakukan perbaikan fasilitas yang rusak dan menambah fasilitas yang masih kurang, memberikan informasi kepada pengunjung menjaga fasilitas obyek wisata. (ST) pengelola dan masyarakat senantiasa mengingatkan kepada pengunjung untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya dan memberikaan edukasi kepada pengunjung arti pentingnya menjaga ekosistem mangrove melalui tulisan tulisan atau membagikan selebaran kepada pengunjung. Hasil alternatif strategi (WT) mengoptimalkan media sosial, website yang sudah ada dan memberikan pelatihan kepada masyarakat penggunaan media informasi, website, face book, instagram sebagai sarana untuk mempromosikan obyek wisata
