Abstract

Serangan hama pada pertanaman padi menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab terjadinya penurunan produksi. Penggunaan alat perangkap light trap merupakan salah satu upaya efektif yang dapat dilakukan untuk menekan serangan serta membantu dalam memonitoring jenis hama pada pertanaman padi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Pattedong Selatan, Kecamatan Ponrang Selatan, Kabupaten Luwu, Sulawesi Selatan pada bulan Agustus - September 2025. Penelitian dilakukan dengan memasang alat perangkap light trap disekitar area pertanaman padi kemudian dilakukan pengamatan jenis hama yang terjerap pada alat perangkap tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan pada alat light trap terdapat beberapa jenis hama Arthropoda yang paling banyak terperangkap diantaranya  Penggerek batang padi (Schirpophaga innonata), Wereng coklat (Nilaparvata lugens), Wereng hijau (Nephotettix virescens), Hama penggulung daun (Cnaphalocrosis medinalis), Ulat grayak (Spodoptera litura), dan Lalat bibit (Hydrellia spp.). Selain hama, ditemukan pula beberapa jenis predator dan parasitoid.
