Efektivitas Daun Kirinyuh Terhadap Walang Sangit (Laptocarisa acuta T.) Pada Tanaman Padi (Oryza sativa L.)

Hama walang sangit (Leptocorisa acuta T.) merupakan salah satu organisme pengganggu utama pada tanaman padi yang dapat menurunkan kualitas dan kuantitas hasil produksi. Pengendalian yang masih bergantung pada pestisida kimia sintetis menimbulkan berbagai dampak negatif, sehingga diperlukan alternatif yang lebih ramah lingkungan, salah satunya melalui pemanfaatan pestisida nabati dari daun kirinyuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas daun kirinyuh terhadap hama walang sangit pada tanaman padi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga terdapat 16 unit percobaan. Adapun perlakuannya yaitu: P0= (tanpa perlakuan), P1= ekstrak daun kirinyuh 30 ml/liter air, P2= ekstrak daun kirinyuh 60 ml/liter air, P3= ekstrak daun kirinyuh 90 ml/liter air. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan melakukan aplikasi ekstrak daun kirinyuh setiap minggu pada tanaman padi yang telah diinokulasi dengan walang sangit. Variabel yang diamati pada penelitian ini meliputi mortalitas dan intensitas serangan hama walang sangit pada tanaman padi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian biopestisida daun kirinyuh terhadap hama walang sangit pada tanaman padi berpengaruh nyata terhadap intensitas serangan dan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap mortalitas. Perlakuan terbaik diperoleh pada konsentrasi 90 ml/L air (P3) yang menghasilkan mortalitas tertinggi, intensitas serangan terendah, serta waktu kematian tercepat. Peningkatan konsentrasi ekstrak berbanding lurus dengan peningkatan efektivitas pengendalian hama.
