Efektivitas Pupuk Mkm dan Ekstrak Tauge terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Tomat (Lycopersicum Esculentum Mill.)

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk MKM dan ekstrak tauge terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman tomat (2) mengetahui dosis pupuk MKM dan ekstrak tauge yang efektif dalam menunjang pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman tomat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lahan Percobaan II Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang dilakukan dengan 6 perlakuan dengan 4 kali ulangan. Sehingga terdapat 24 unit percobaan. P0 = tanpa perlakuan, P1 = pupuk MKM 100 gram/tanaman dan ekstrak tauge 75 ml/tanaman, P2 = pupuk MKM 150 gram/tanaman dan ekstrak tauge 100 ml/tanaman, P3 = pupuk MKM 200 gram/tanaman dan ekstrak tauge 125 ml/tanaman, P4 = pupuk MKM 250 gram/tanaman dan ekstrak tauge 150 ml/tanaman, P5 = pupuk MKM 300 gram/tanaman dan ekstrak tauge 175 ml/tanaman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pemberian pupuk MKM 250 gram/tanaman dan ekstrak tauge 150 ml/tanaman (P4) dapat berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun, umur berbunga, dan berat buah, sedangkan parameter tinggi tanaman dan jumlah buah menunjukan hasil yang tidak berpengaruh nyata, namun terlihat bahwa P4 memiliki nilai rata-rata tinggi tanaman dan jumlah buah lebih tinggi dari perlakuan lainnya. Hal ini diduga terjadi karena adanya pengaruh unsur hara N, P dan K didalam pupuk MKM dan ZPT alami seperti auksin, sitokinin dan giberelin didalam ekstrak tauge yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan tanaman sehingga memperlihatkan respon yang baik dalam pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman tomat.
