Respon Pertumbuhan Bibit Sambung Pucuk Tanaman Kakao (Theobroma Cacao L.) Klon ICCRI 09 dengan Pemberian Kotoran Ayam dan Arang Sekam Padi

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan bibit sambung pucuk tanaman kakao dengan pemberian kotoran ayam dan arang sekam padi dan dosis pupuk kandang kotoran ayam dan arang sekam padi yang efektif terhadap pertumbuhan sambung pucuk tanaman kakao. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dilahan percobaan II Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo, Jalan Lamaranginang, Kelurahan Salobulo, Kecamatan Wara Utara, Kota Palopo, pada bulan Februari sampai April 2026. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 6 perlakuan 4 ulangan sehingga terdapat 24 unit percobaan. Taraf yang digunakan antara lain ialah P0 (Kontrol), P1 (Pemberian kotoran ayam 300gr dan arang sekam padi 400 gr/ polybag), P2 (pemberian kotoran ayam 350gr dan arang sekam padi 350 gr/ polybag), P3 (pemberian kotoran ayam 400gr dan arang sekam 300 gr/ polybag), P4 (pemberian kotoran ayam 450gr dan arang sekam padi 250 gr/ polybag), P5 (pemberian kotoran ayam 500gr dan arang sekam padi 200 gr/ polybag). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kotoran ayam dan arang sekam padi terhadap pertumbuhan bibit sambung pucuk tanaman kakao (Theobroma cacao L.) klon ICCRI 09 tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap setiap parameter pengamatan yaitu hari munculnya tunas, tinggi tunas, jumlah daun, lebar daun dan panjang daun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kotoran ayam dan arang sekam padi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kakao klon ICCRI 09. Namun, perlakuan P2 (350 g kotoran ayam + 350 g arang sekam/polybag) memberikan hasil terbaik pada tinggi tunas, lebar daun, dan panjang daun, sedangkan P1 (300 g kotoran ayam + 400 g arang sekam/polybag) terbaik pada hari muncul tunas dan jumlah daun. Hal ini karena penyerapan unsur hara pada tanaman bibit kakao belum terserap secara maksimal.
