Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of training and work motivation on employee performance at PT Sulo Rantepao, North Toraja Regency. Training and work motivation are 2 important factors that are often assumed to be able to improve employee performance. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique was carried out through distributing questionnaires to 34 respondents who were permanent employees of the company. The data obtained was analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 27. The results showed that partially or simultaneously training and work motivation had no significant effect on employee performance. The significance value obtained for both variables is greater than 0.05, which indicates that training and work motivation have not been able to make a real contribution to improving performance. These findings indicate the need to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and the company's approach in building work motivation, as well as considering other factors that may be more dominant in influencing performance.
