Transfer Teknologi Tepat Guna dan Diversifikasi Olahan Rumput Laut untuk Peningkatan Keberdayaan Kelompok Tani Rumput Laut di Desa Belopa, Kabupaten Luwu

Kelompok Tani Rumput Laut Subur Katonik di Desa Belopa, Kecamatan Belopa, Kabupaten Luwu, membudidayakan Eucheuma cottonii dengan metode longline pada lahan sekitar 21 hektare dengan produktivitas rata-rata 1,1 ton per hektare. Mitra mengeringkan hasil panen di atas pasir atau tanah selama tiga sampai empat hari, belum menggunakan alat ukur kualitas air, dan menjual 100% hasil panen sebagai rumput laut kering seharga sekitar Rp13.000 per kilogram. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas produksi, mutu pascapanen, dan nilai tambah usaha mitra melalui transfer teknologi tepat guna serta diversifikasi olahan rumput laut. Kegiatan dilaksanakan bersama sepuluh anggota kelompok melalui tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dengan pendekatan Rational Unified Process, serta evaluasi dan keberlanjutan. Capaian diukur menggunakan daftar periksa kompetensi per indikator, lembar observasi praktik, dan rekapitulasi kegiatan pada periode satu bulan pascaintervensi. Lima rangkaian kegiatan telah terlaksana dengan rata-rata capaian kompetensi 85,7%, terdiri atas 81,7% pada budidaya dan penanganan hama, 91,7% pada penggunaan alat ukur kualitas air, 85,0% pada pengoperasian Solar Dome Dryer, 84,3% pada diversifikasi olahan, dan 85,8% pada pengemasan produk. Penguasaan alat ukur kualitas air naik dari rata-rata 0,8 anggota menjadi 9,2 anggota dari sepuluh anggota. Tiga belas jenis teknologi tepat guna senilai Rp30.490.000 telah diserahterimakan dan dimanfaatkan mitra, dan kelompok menghasilkan produk olahan bermerek Sea Lopa pada tahap uji produksi. Dari sembilan aspek keberdayaan yang dinilai, tujuh aspek naik dari Level 1 belum mampu menjadi Level 2 mampu dengan pendampingan. Capaian pada aspek pemasaran belum dapat dinilai karena pelatihan pemasaran daring dan kerja sama dengan industri belum dilaksanakan. Temuan pada satu kelompok mitra ini mengindikasikan bahwa transfer teknologi pascapanen yang disertai pendampingan praktik dapat meningkatkan keberdayaan kelompok pembudidaya rumput laut dalam waktu singkat.
