Abstract

Pelatihan Penggunaan Ragam Bahasa dalam Berbagai Media dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 8 Bulukumba dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan kompetensi siswa dalam menggunakan bahasa yang sesuai dengan konteks media komunikasi yang berbeda. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya penggunaan bahasa tidak formal dan kurang sopan di media sosial, yang mencerminkan keterbatasan pemahaman siswa terhadap ragam bahasa formal serta etika komunikasi digital. Pelatihan ini menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu pre-test, pemutaran video edukatif, penyampaian materi, diskusi kelompok, dan post-test. Evaluasi dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui tes, observasi, dan refleksi peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa mengenai ragam bahasa formal dan informal, kesadaran mereka terhadap penggunaan bahasa santun di platform digital, serta minat mereka dalam menulis konten sastra atau edukatif. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi kebahasaan dan literasi digital siswa, serta berpotensi dikembangkan menjadi program literasi bahasa yang berkelanjutan di lingkungan sekolah.
