Internalisasi Filosofi Perempuan Bugis-Makassar melalui Workshop Interpretasi Tradisi dan Tari Pakarena sebagai Model Penguatan Pendidikan Siswa SMP Negeri 33 Makassar

Globalisasi dan modernisasi menjadi tantangan bagi keberlanjutan nilai budaya lokal di kalangan generasi muda. Kondisi ini ditemukan di SMP Negeri 33 Makassar, di mana sekitar 65–70% siswa mengenal bentuk simbolik tradisi, cerita, dan kesenian daerah, tetapi belum memahami makna filosofisnya. Pembelajaran budaya juga cenderung teoritis, sementara nilai lokal seperti Siri’ na Pacce belum terintegrasi secara sistematis dalam pendidikan karakter. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan menginternalisasikan filosofi perempuan Bugis-Makassar melalui workshop interpretasi tradisi dan Tari Pakarena sebagai model penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa. Program dilaksanakan pada 23 Juli, 26 Agustus, dan 27 Agustus 2026 di SMP Negeri 33 Makassar dengan melibatkan 80 siswa. Metode yang digunakan meliputi participatory learning, pendekatan interpretasi budaya, dan experiential learning. Tahapan kegiatan mencakup sosialisasi, workshop interpretasi tradisi melalui cerita rakyat dan pappaseng, pemanfaatan media audiovisual, interpretasi dan praktik Tari Pakarena, pendampingan, evaluasi, serta perancangan keberlanjutan. Keberhasilan program diukur melalui pre-test, post-test, observasi partisipasi, dan refleksi tertulis siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan respons positif mitra dan peningkatan pemahaman siswa dari sekadar mengenali bentuk budaya menjadi mampu menginterpretasikan makna simbolik dan filosofisnya. Siswa memahami nilai Siri’ na Pacce dan filosofi perempuan Bugis-Makassar, khususnya malebbi sebagai sikap bermartabat, santun, tangguh, cerdas, dan bertanggung jawab. Praktik Tari Pakarena juga menumbuhkan kesabaran, kedisiplinan, ketekunan, dan kerja sama. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan melampaui indikator minimal 70%. Program menghasilkan model pembelajaran karakter berbasis seni tradisional yang kontekstual dan berkelanjutan serta mendukung SDGs, khususnya pendidikan berkualitas dan kesetaraan gender.
