Income Journal of Economics Development
(e-ISSN 3025-3225)
Published by Pustaka Digital Indonesia
The Income Journal of Economics Development implements a rigorous, transparent, and ethical publishing process that aligns with international publication standards and the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
The entire process—from manuscript submission to publication—is managed through the journal’s Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform to ensure fairness, objectivity, and traceability.
The journal’s publishing workflow consists of seven stages, as outlined below:
Authors submit manuscripts exclusively through the online submission system at the journal website: https://journaljekami.ac.id.
Submissions must include:
The main manuscript (in English, using the official journal template).
The signed Author Statement Form.
A plagiarism check report (maximum similarity ≤ 20%).
The corresponding author will receive an automated acknowledgment of receipt from the OJS system.
The Editorial Team performs an initial evaluation within 7–10 working days to ensure:
Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope.
Compliance with the Author Guidelines and formatting requirements.
Originality and plagiarism level (checked via Turnitin/iThenticate).
Manuscripts that fail to meet these criteria are returned to the author for correction or rejected before peer review.
Eligible manuscripts proceed to double-blind peer review, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two reviewers who are experts in the related field.
Reviewers assess:
Originality and contribution to the field.
Theoretical and methodological soundness.
Clarity, coherence, and scholarly quality of writing.
Accuracy and depth of analysis.
Review duration: 4–8 weeks.
Review outcomes:
Accepted without revision
Accepted with minor revision
Major revision required
Rejected
Authors receive detailed feedback from reviewers via OJS.
Revisions must be completed within 14–21 days depending on the type of revision.
The revised manuscript must be accompanied by a Response to Reviewers Form, clearly outlining all changes made.
Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated by reviewers or editors to confirm improvements.
The Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the Associate Editor, makes the final decision based on reviewer recommendations and the author’s revision quality.
The decision may be:
Accept for Publication
Minor Revisions Required
Reject
The corresponding author is formally notified via OJS.
Accepted manuscripts proceed to the copyediting and layout stage, which ensures linguistic accuracy, clarity, and adherence to journal style.
Authors will receive galley proofs (PDF format) for final review and approval before publication.
No substantial changes to the content are allowed at this stage except minor typographical or formatting corrections.
After final approval, the article is published online in the “Articles in Press” section before being assigned to a specific issue.
Each article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through CrossRef to ensure global discoverability and citation tracking.
The journal publishes issues twice per year (January and July) in both PDF and HTML formats.
The journal allows post-publication discussion and corrections for factual or ethical errors.
In cases of proven misconduct (e.g., plagiarism or data fabrication), articles may be retracted following COPE Retraction Guidelines.
All published articles are open access under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution.
Income Journal of Economics Development ensures long-term preservation and global accessibility by indexing and archiving its contents in reputable databases and repositories, including:
